Fundraising Premiums

All participants must raise $150 to ride in this event.  Riders who raise $500 or more will be eligible for exciting premiums.  Milestones to premiums are $500, $750, and $1000.  Two individual participants who raise more than anyone else will win 1 of 2 grand prizes.

Grand Prize 2: SRAM Power Meter

The first 5 participants to raise $1000.00 will be invited to join our honorary ride chairs for a fun ride through beautiful Garden of the Gods Park, followed by lunch at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center. Date for the ride with honorary ride chairs not yet determined.

The sooner you get started, the easier it is to raise funds!

Steps to achieving your goal:

  • Set Your Personal Goal.The sky's the limit! We suggest setting your fundraising goal at $500. Once you’ve hit your fundraising goal – aim even higher.
  • Log In To Your Participant Center and Send Emails. Log in and access your Participant Center and create a personal fundraising web page. Emails sent from your Participant Center will include a link to your personal web page, enabling people to donate to you directly. 
  • List Your Potential Donors. Make sure you include your family, friends, doctor, dentist, and mechanic. 
  • Compose Your Fundraising Letter/Email.Start with one of the sample fundraising emails and personalize it with your story!
  • Host a Ride Fundraising Party.  Invite your neighbors and friends to a night of food, fun and games at your house. Collect donations for entry.
  • Download and Print Fundraising Tools.Visit the Fundraising Tips section to download fundraising ideas and resources.  
  • Quick and Easy Fundraising Ideas: Download the Power of 10 form
  • Donation Form: Download a Komen Ride Donation Form and use it to collect donations and send it to donors who prefer to mail in a donation.
  • Download and Print Event Poster. Help get the word out and get your friends to participate. Poster
